A former high school and college English teacher, Jacqueline is an avid reader of Christian fiction. Her work includes Christian historicals centered on the lives of African Americans. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and the Bards of Faith, a local Christian writers critique group. She and her husband Donald have two adult children and two beloved granddaughters.
Jacqueline is a multi-published author whose work ranges from her short story, “Christmas Lights” in Christmas Stories from Mississippi by University Press of Mississippi to her memoirs in Children of the Changing South: Accounts of Growing Up During and After Integration published by McFarland Press. A Most Precious Gift is her first published novel (Mantle Rock Publishers).
